Family

2009 has been a very family-oriented year. Stuff we’ve done:

• Visiting with my parents, Jim and Mary Jaene Edmonds, in Long Beach, CA, about every 6-8 weeks throughout the year. Dad has vascular dementia so 24/7 caregivers help him each day. Mom is periodically OK with all the extra people around the house.

• Diane and I celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary in March with a trip to San Francisco!

• Diane and I enjoying time with her kids, Karin and Andy, and their spouses. Karin works out of her home, pursuing her own artistic endeavors. Her hubby, Greg, was promoted into a key IT role at Kaiser Permanente. Andy heads the graphics department at the Lakewood FedEx store. His bride, Dana, is a corporate paralegal with US CorpWorks in Denver. Andy and Dana bought their first home this year (in Arvada)!

• The family is growing! Here is a picture of Diane greeting Karin and Greg’s new Shiba Inu puppy, Tsuki.
